“Titan Quest” initially released in 2006. THQ Nordic’s "Diablo"-like action RPG is coming to consoles next year. A special edition will also be available for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms. The game is going to be released digitally and in stores. A report by Gamespot revealed many of the facts and details used in this article.
Release details
The standard edition is going to be $30, which will include the base game and the "Immortal Throne" expansion. The collector’s edition will cost $119 for PS4 and Xbox One, and $110 for the PC. This edition includes a physical copy of the game on whatever platform you want, which will include the "Immortal Throne" expansion, a branded notebook, and a replica Greek war helmet.
This will not include the new "Ragnarok" expansion. “Titan Quest” will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on March 20 of next year and Switch later in the year.
Details about the console editions
Players can unlock arcane mysteries as you travel to legendary locations in an ancient world. Conquer monsters and battle mythical creatures in a story-driven campaign where your actions affect the fate of the world. Players can also play online and challenge others to experience the story in online cooperative gameplay. You can play with up to six players.
Action role-playing game
For those of you who haven’t heard of “Titan Quest,” the game is an action role-playing hack and slash video game. The Titans have escaped from prison and are determined on destroying Earth.
The Gods are not able to stop them by themselves. Player’s play as a hero who will determine the fate of the Olympians. You can create a character, explore ancient civilizations such as Greece, Egypt, and China, and fight your way through mythical creatures.
Nordic games, now known as THQ Nordic, acquired “Titan Quest” in 2013 from THQ and started to work on bringing back the multiplayer game and improving the game further.
The game can currently be found on Steam, Google Play, and the App Store.
The game was originally released in 2006 and has been doing updates since February 2016, which are in public beta. In September 2016, THQ Nordic re-released the game as an Anniversary Edition with several fixes. The game is currently on Steam for $19.99, which includes the base game and “Titan Quest: Immortal Throne” in one game.
There is also another expansion called, “Titan Quest: Ragnarok” on steam which touches more on Norse mythology. The heroes hear about mysterious threats and get called to the uncharted lands of northern Europe, where they encounter new enemies, new powers, and treasures
