“World Of Warcraft” Executive Producer J. Allen Brack recently told Eurogamer in an exclusive interview that the Classic version will take a long time to recreate. He revealed that this undertaking will take a lot of effort and he does not expect it to be soon.

Game company Blizzard Entertainment also revealed the next expansion for the massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). "Battle for Azeroth" will let players choose their side next year in a big battle between two factions.

Classic game version will take a lot of time

Although “World of Warcraft” Classic was revealed recently at BlizzCon 2017, Brack clarified that it will take months or years to recreate it.

He stated that it will take a massive effort to realize it. He does not even know when they are going to release it.

The game company could be adding other features to the classic version than just releasing it in a separate launcher. Brack also revealed that he would like Nostalrius project leaders, Daemon and Viper, to be involved in its creation. He is hoping they can solve their visa issues as soon as possible.

Reassurance for players coming back

Brack confirmed that they will be in the “World of Warcraft” Classic business for a long time. As long as the game exists, the game company will be committed to maintaining the servers. They also want to provide a new Classic community for players who want to go on a nostalgia trip in this version.

Battle of Azeroth next expansion

In other related news, Blizzard Entertainment revealed recently at BlizzCon 2017 the next expansion: "Battle of Azeroth." It will take players into the great battle between the Horde and the Alliance.

Players allied to the Horde will travel to the Zandalar Empire. They will have to negotiate with the trolls to join the great battle with their naval might.

Players who joined the Alliance will travel to the kingdom of Kul Tiras. They will have to persuade Jaina Proudmoore and her people to join their fight against the Horde.

“World of Warcraft” players can choose new races with unique racial abilities. Some of these new races are the Highmountain Tauren, Void Elves, Dark Iron Dwarves, and more.

Islands of the Great Seas full of treasure

"World of Warcraft" Battle of Azeroth will have uncharted Islands in the Great Sea. Each area will have tons of enemies, objectives, and beautiful environments to explore. Players can join groups of three against others who are also looking for resources to fund the Great War.
