"Skyrim" returns to the PlayStation 4, readapted for virtual reality. The game is ready to be released in just over a week, on November 17, 2017. "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" was originally released for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 back in November 2011, but the VR version was announced earlier this year at Sony’s E3 2017 Media Showcase. According to Bethesda Game Studios, who developed the game, "Skyrim VR" takes the original, full game (including all of the official add-ons: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn), and reimagines them with a new sense of immersion for the players.

Story

In case you haven't already played "Skyrim," or are unfamiliar with the storyline, "Skyrim" follows Dragonborn, who you play as, throughout the game. Dragons have been long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, but now they have returned to Tamriel, and the future of the Empire hangs in the balance. The prophesied hero, Dragonborn, can harness the power of dragons using The Voice; they are the only one who can stand among them, and use their power.

"Skyrim" is set approximately 200 years after the events of "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," but it's not a sequel to the game. The game takes place during a civil war between the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Legion. The main antagonist is Alduin, a dragon that is foretold to destroy the world.

Your quest is to defeat Alduin while traveling the large map that is the province of Skyrim, and exploring the expanses of land that are readily available for you to discover.
