October 27 2017, seems to be a big day for new game releases, With Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: The Origins" hitting the market, it appears that "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus" is releasing on the same day. Developed by Machine Games, "Wolfenstein 2" is an extraordinary action-adventure first-person shooter video game.
Apart from the other first person shooter video games, "Wolfenstein 2" is believed to have an incredible gaming experience. Published by Bethesda Softworks, the game is based on the events of the World War 2. Unlike its predecessor "Wolfenstein: The Old Blood" this game is said to have some Real World events involved.
Time to kill Nazi's
As World War 2 was related with the Third Reich and the Nazi regime, "Wolfenstein 2" is all about guns, shooting and killing Nazi's. According to IGN, Pete Hines the vice president of Bethesda Softworks stated that the is no denying the fact that the game is based on fighting against the Nazi's.
The game is all set to release for the XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on the same day. Many games have adapted the same idea of killing Nazi's, but the question is what makes "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus" special from the others?
Real World Events
Taking on the real world events has brought the game extra attention. Earlier this year there was a protest against the removal of a Robert E.
Lee statue in Charlottesville, Virginia. It turns out that the game developers have taken these issues and implemented them in the game. Some say that it was a marketing strategy to gain more publicity. However, Pete Hines said that it is an opportunity that should not be missed.
The marketing of "Wolfenstein 2" might be based on the current issues, but the game's plot has a different agenda altogether.
Apparently, the plot and characters were finalized many years ago. It is all about the bad Nazi's and their cruel ways of life and getting to kill them is going to be fun, said Hines.
It is indeed one of the most anticipated games of 2017, the story is amazing and the graphics are believed to be excellent. To ensure a satisfying game-play, PC players need to have the minimum requirements.
