It has been a while since Niantic released the legendary creatures in “Pokemon GO.” The latest additions are the Legendary Pokemon Entei, Raikou, Suicune, and Mewtwo. Defeating and capturing a legendary Pokemon is not easy, not to mention the very low catch rate. “Pokemon GO” players must fully prepare their counters before battling a legendary. Players should also make sure that they have the enough participants on the team.

How to defeat Entei?

According to PokemonGoHub, Entei is a Fire-type legendary which makes it very easy to counter it. The best way to defeat Entei is to use Water-type, Rock-type, and Ground-type creatures such as Omastar, Vaporeon, Golem, Tyranitar, Gyarados, and Kingdra.

How to defeat Suicune?

Suicune is a Water-type legendary. Suicune is pretty tough and its only weaknesses are Electric-type and Grass-type creatures. The best way to battle with Suicune is to use Raikou, Zapdos, Exeggutor, Dragonite, Venusaur, Vileplume, and Jolteon.

How to defeat Raikou?

Raikou is an Electric-type legendary which makes it very vulnerable to Ground-type creatures in “Pokemon GO.” The best way to face Raikou is to use Rhydon, Golem, Donphan, Tyranitar, Sandslash, and Nidoking. Unlike the legendary bird Zapdos, Raikou does not have any types of attacks to make a battle complicated. So players can easily use ground attacks to defeat it.

How to defeat Mewtwo?

Mewtwo, on the other hand, is far stronger than the three legendary canines.

Mewtwo is probably the strongest legendary creature in “Pokemon GO.” Mewtwo is a Psychic-type Pokemon and its weaknesses are Dark-type, Bug-type, and Ghost-type. The best to defeat Mewtwo is to use Tyranitar, Houndoom, Scizor, Gyarados, Pinsir, Gengar, and Mewtwo itself. Catching Mewtwo is another problem because it has a very low catch rate.

Legendary Pokemon new locations

According to a report from GameSpot, Niantic rotated the areas where the legendary dogs can be found, which gives other players in other parts of the world a chance to capture them. The Fire-type canine Entei will be available in America. The Water-type canine Suicune has been relocated to Europe and Africa. The Electric-type canine Raikou has been moved to the Asia-Pacific region.

All three legendary canines will remain in their designated locations until October 31, and then they will be relocated again to their final location on November 30.

Halloween Event

In other “Pokemon GO” news, Niantic recently announced the annual Halloween in-game event. The developer said that the event will start in mid-October. Players are expecting to experience a similar Halloween event last year, but this time with the second-generation Pokemon. Some rumors also claim that the developer will release the third-generation Pokemon together with the Halloween event.
