On September 28, Rockstar Games finally dropped the much-awaited trailer of “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The last update that fans received on the highly anticipated game installment was in May 2017. The developer announced that the release date will be moved to Spring 2018 and released several screenshots of the title.

The latest trailer reveals a significant amount of details about the western themed prequel. However, it appears that there are many Easter eggs scattered all over the latest video. For those who have missed it, here is a rundown.

Train robberies, weather system, and save point

One of the most noticeable features in the latest “Red Dead Redemption 2” trailer that can be easily seen is Train Robbery. It could the upcoming game’s version of “Grand Theft Auto V” heists. In one scene, there is a campsite, a beautiful outdoor and a horse. This could be a part of the cutscene or it could also be the save or fast travel point of the game. The trailer also reveals several scenes of snowy mountains, which could mean that there will be various weather system and other weather elements.

Leaked map, stores, and towns

The latest trailer also shows expansive landscapes, which underscores the size of the game’s map. Interestingly, it could also prove that the alleged leaked map previously making rounds on the web is accurate.

The shot showing a river resembles a lot of the leaked map fans saw in the past.

Smaller towns are also shown in the second trailer. Various types of shops including a gun vendor named R.L. Dalton is also revealed. If you make a quick research the name Dalton could be referring to the Dalton Gang, which was a group of Outlaws in America in the later part of 1890.

In the video, you can also see the Sheriff’s office as well as a law office.

Sidekick

There is an interesting scene in the video that shows a Native American walking with one of the characters. It could be possible that the players can have a sidekick who will work for them, carry their things, or even fight with them. It could also be connected to the prevailing theory that the Dutch brought along a Native American gang in the first game installment.

It is possible that the scene shows the timeframe where he makes those links.

Horse

Anywhere in the second “Red Dead Redemption 2” trailer, you can see a horse, which is obvious because the game is western-themed. However, it could also mean that Horse taming might be reintroduced in the second game installment. Aside from Horse taming, several fans also noticed that horses have properly animated testicles.
