Good news for the owners of the popular Switch gaming console. Nintendo just shared fresh details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive game "Super Mario Odyssey."
According to DualShockers, the Japanese gaming giant just released to the gaming world the latest details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch open world game. The newly released video showcases around 10 minutes of the gameplay, focusing mainly on the game’s co-op feature. The new video also puts more focus on the game’s capture feature, detailing more about the interesting moments throughout Mario and Cappy’s adventure, the DualShockers reported.
About Super Mario Odyssey
Developed and published by Nintendo, “Super Mario Odyssey” is an upcoming 3D platform video game for the Nintendo Switch console. The game is scheduled for global roll out on October 27, 2017. This new 3D platform game returns to the free-roaming exploration-based gameplay that was also used in the previous versions of the “Super Mario” game.
As for the gameplay, the game focuses on a character named Mario, who will travel across various worlds known as Kingdoms, in an effort to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. In each Kingdom, Mario will search and completes missions in order to obtain items much known as Power Moons, which can unlock the door to the next level or new world.
Development of the “Super Mario Odyssey” first started in 2013, after the release of “Super Mario 3D” in the gaming market. The game was first mentioned by producer Yoshiaki Koizumi in 2014 and was first teased at 2016 Nintendo Switch event. In January 2017, it was officially introduced at 2017 Nintendo Switch presentation.
“Super Mario Odyssey” will be released worldwide on October 27.

The Japanese gaming console Nintendo Switch still dominates the hardware sales for the month of September. According to TechRaptor, the console has scored an impressive sales performance on September, claiming almost two-thirds of the entire console sold for the month of September only.
The company made the big announcement on the recent press release.
In addition to the impressive hardware performance, Nintendo’s other big games have also made a huge hit. The company's games have managed to occupy almost all of the top spots in the best individual selling games category, the website reported.
