The “OverwatchHalloween terror event is just right around the corner and fans excited to see the new skins. Depending on the event, these cosmetics fall in line with a certain theme. For Halloween, we can expect some pretty scary skins to come later this week. That said, it seems like there has been another leak for Halloween Terror 2017. An accidental advertisement reveals several new skins for selected heroes apart from Reaper and McCree.

Halloween leaks

One YouTuber has shared a video revealing all of the new leaked skins for the upcoming event.

Characters like Mei, Symmetra, and Zenyatta have gotten some terrifying skins for the Halloween Terror 2017. Mei’s skin seems to be a direct reference to the Jiang Shi, a vampire from Chinese folklore. Symmtera’s new costume, on the other hand, seems to be an ordinary demon. Finally, Zenyatta’s skin seems to be based on either the Kraken or Cthulhu. The former is a terrifying sea monster, while Cthulhu is a creature from H.P. Lovecraft mythology.

Since these are new skins, they’ll most likely be priced at 3000 credits. That said, you can always try your luck via loot boxes. The Halloween Terror event will begin this Oct. 11 and will last until the first week of November. Fans have plenty of time to collect seasonal skins and enjoy the upcoming brawl.

While Blizzard still hasn’t revealed what they have in store, it seems likely that the Junkenstein’s Revenge mode might return.

Mercy nerf

In other “Overwatch” news, Mercy will be getting a nerf in the Public Test Realm. The hero has recently gotten a rework that changed her ultimate ability. She can no longer revive a group of fallen allies, but she still has access to her Resurrect skill.

However, she can only bring one character back to life, but on a 30-second cooldown basis. Her new ultimate ability, Valkyrie, greatly enhances all of her abilities while resetting her Resurrect skill’s cooldown. During Valkyrie, her Resurrect’s cooldown is drastically reduced from 30 seconds to 10. Depending on the situation, a Mercy player could revive three to four players while in Valkyrie mode.

Her nerf completely changes this as her Resurrect no longer resets upon activating her ultimate skill. Furthermore, the cooldown stays locked at 30 seconds. These changes will greatly reduce how many dead players she can bring back on the battlefield. That said, all of these changes are still in testing and may be changed in the future.
