2K Sports released a new Update for “NBA 2K18.” It is called the update 1.04, which brings several classic jerseys, as well as new shoes. The update also included a lot of fixes in the game and several gameplay changes. 2K Sports also confirmed that the update is currently available for PS4 only. The company also announced that Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC will receive the update soon.
New classic jerseys, shoes and customization options
The update 1.04 brings classic jerseys for Buckets, Hornets, Lakers, and Suns. It also brings 5 new shoes, such as Lonzo Ball's Big Baller Brand's ZO2: Prime, Kobe A.D.
NXT, Jordan CP3.X AE, Jordan Super.Fly 2017 and the Nike Foamposite One. It will definitely bring more style to the character or any other players in the game. The update also adds 18 new beards, 2 mustaches, and 8 facial stubbles, which gives more customization options for players. New eyebrows and eye colors are also added in the Create-A-Player mode. Players names being improperly placed while creating a uniform is also fixed.
Bug fixes and gameplay changes
There are tons of fixes in the update 1.04. First is the issue where putback layups sometimes hit the front of the ring and the bottom of the backboard. The update also fixed the bug where players improperly stand while being hit by a hard foul.
The issue where the game freezes when a staff tries to pick up the ball while it's in play. 2K Sports also fixed some issues in the after foul animations where a player's hand could hit a player's head. The issue where using the icon pass disengages the player from posting up is also solved in the update. The bug where defensive settings not sticking to the Coach's Clipboard after being changed is also solved.
Tons of crash and freeze issues, as well as several bugs, are also fixed on MyCAREER, Neighborhood, Pro-Am, MyTEAM, and MyGM game modes. Aside from the bug fixes, 2K Sports also included a lot of gameplay changes in the update. First is the additional variety of injuries that players can receive during a game. The update also brings a more responsive triple threat moves when crowded by defenders.
The catching rate on corners is also improved. 2K Sports also included various improvements to the Teammate Grading system. The company also added some improvements on the screen system, making it easier for players to navigate and look around the court. The Shot Clock also now resets when the offensive team wins a jump ball.
