After Microsoft released its latest titles, players will be able to download these Xbox Games With Gold for October. Live Gold members are entitled to some free Xbox 360 and Xbox One games for the month but only if you download them on time. This October, at least five titles will be given away to players.

Xbox Games with Gold for October

According to the Gamespot, Microsoft's Games with Gold include "Gone Home," from October 1-31, "The Turing Test," from October 16 to November 31, and "Oxenfree" from September 16 to October 15. Take note that these games are available on the Xbox One console.

For those who are still tied up on the Xbox 360, the titles include "Rayman 3 HD" available from October 1-15 and "Medal of Honor: Airborne" from October 16 - 31.

Meanwhile, you can also check on last month's entry to the Games with Gold mainly " Hydro Thunder Hurricane," "Oxenfree," "Battlefield 3," and "Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition." Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold members are guaranteed to save at least $700 a year through the Xbox Games with Gold and Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.

Free PS Plus games for October

Sony's PS Plus games for October include the "Amnesia Collection," "Hue," "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," and the "Skyforce Anniversary." For the PS3 console, the offers include "Hustle Kings," and "Monster jam Battlegrounds." These offers are only available for a short period and just like the Xbox Games with Gold; you need to download them on the date indicated to avoid buying them.

This month all the way through November, expect the Xbox to get the latest offers beginning with a blockbuster Xbox One backward compatibility list, another set of Games with Gold for November, and the much-anticipated launching of the Xbox One X console. Microsoft revealed that since its announcement last month, fans have started pre-ordering the units, maxing out those being offered by retail stores.

Its upcoming official launching could be a different one with a more intense hype on the new gaming platform.

As for the Xbox One backwards, compatibility list, the entire "Fable" series has arrived on the feature bringing the latest titles' "Fable Anniversary" and "Fable 2." Games in the BC feature are free to those who previously owned the games on the XBox 360 console. Otherwise, players will need to purchase and manually download the games from the Xbox One Store.
