'Injustice 2' Ed Boon give hints of Fighter Pack 3 characters

Ed Boon recently shared some clues on the upcoming Fighter Pack 3 of “Injustice 2.” The game director is known in the community for his subliminal images used in teasing or giving hints about the upcoming characters in the popular fighting title. Recently, however, the clues he revealed are unlike his usual leaks. Several days ago, NetherRealm Studios surprised fans when it released the reveal trailer for one of the characters in its third expansion. The timing was unexpected since that third hero of the second DLC - Hellboy - is not in the game yet.

New clues

Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios recently teased the community with the contents of the Fighter Pack 3 of “Injustice 2.” In a recent interview with IGN Brazil, the game director said that Fighter Pack 3 would be announced in the later part of the year. He added that the update would contain a new character that would surprise everyone. According to the director, no one is anticipating the style of play of the next character that will be added to the fighting title.

Top bets

Despite giving clues, the game director’s statement is as vague as the images he used to tease fans about the upcoming characters. However, fans have already come up with their top picks of the possible characters that will be released alongside Atom.

On top of the list is Spawn. Based on Boon’s description, Spawn could be a good guess. While he is not from the DC universe, the character utilizes his suit to create armor and weapons, so he could perfectly fit in the game director’s description of a new style of play.

Other fans are also betting on Constantine as the other DLC character that will arrive in the later part of the year.

He could pass for Boon’s description of a new style of play. Unlike other fighters, Constantine uses a special gauge as his weapon that spawns a magical flame.

Other bets for the possible character in the upcoming Fighter Pack 3 include Raven. So far, the game has several fighters that are from “Teen Titans.” This includes Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire.

Adding Raven in the fighting title would not hurt. In fact, one of the characters requested by most fans is Raven. Many believe that she is the character behind the hooded silhouette.
