Rockstar North, the developer behind the popular “Gta 5,” got some big news this week. The studio has finally revealed to the gaming world the release date for the upcoming Transform Race DLC update.

According to Daily Express, the studio has detailed more about the upcoming DLC update. The studio confirmed that the Online Transform Races DLC update would arrive next week. The new update is expected to bring a whole new racing experience.

What to expect from the upcoming DLC update

As mentioned earlier by GameSpot, the Transform Races DLC update will be arriving on October 17, and it will give players a chance to take part in the next evolution of stunt racing.

In the Transform Race, player’s vehicles will be able to change between bikes, planes, cars, depending on the player’s gaming environment. As seen on the released trailer video below, the change happens instantly once the player hit a specific point on the race course.

Also, the Transform Races update will also introduce a new type of checkpoint, which called the Warps. As the developer said earlier, the new checkpoint will allow players to take a mid-race jump, moving from one place to another location on the map.

And there’s, even more, coming, Rockstar will be adding a new adversary modes called Condemned and also a new vehicle, which reportedly similar with the iconic Batmobile vehicle. Finally, the developer also gave players a good hint about what to expect from “GTA” later this year.

About the popular action-adventure game

Developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, “GTA 5” or “Grand Theft Auto V,” is an action-adventure game developed for PC, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One. The game, which can be played in either first-person perspective or third-person perspective, is the first major entry in the long-running "GTA" game series.

The game is set within the fictional state of San Andres, located in the very heart of California. The game’s open world environment allows players to roam the San Andres's gaming environment freely. But unlike the earlier entries, this game offers a much larger gaming area.

As for the story plot and gameplay, the game’s story is focused around a heist sequence, which involves various missions, including intense shooting and driving.

Here, players can use vehicles to escape enemies or navigate the open world. They can also use firearms, explosives and even employed melee weapons or attacks to fend off their enemies.

The "GTA 5" can be played in either single-player mode or online multiplayer mode. In single-player mode, the player will be allowed to control three characters, whose stories include committing a heist. In online multiplayer mode, the game allows up to 30 players to come together and explore the game’s open world environment. The multiplayer mode also allows those players to engage in cooperative game matches. “GTA 5” is currently available on Windows PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
