Ubisoft’s tactical shooter game “Ghost Recon Wildlands” is about to get a new gaming update this week. The studio announced the game’s latest addition, the new PvP mode called “Ghost War.”
According to PlayStation LifeStyle, the Paris-base studio released a new video that detailed the new PvP mode’s features. The newly released video summarized everything the gamers need to know about the new PvP mode. These include new gaming challenges and exciting features.
About the tactical shooter
Developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft, "Ghost Recon Wildlands" is an action-packed tactical shooter game developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The game was the tenth installment in the long-running Tom Clancy’s "Ghost Reco"n franchise. It’s also the first game in the franchise to feature an open world gaming environment.
As for the gameplay, the game is set in an open world gaming environment and played from a third-person perspective. There’s also some optional first-person view for gun aiming things. The tactical shooter takes place in the South American country of Bolivia, where players play as members of the highly-lethal “Ghosts,” fictional elite special forces formed under the command of the United States Army.
But unlike the other previous games, the “Ghost Recon Wildlands” does not feature the futuristic setting that has been used in other “Ghost” games like in "Advanced Warfighter" or "Future Soldier." Instead, the game adopts something interesting, a modern-day setting similar to the original “Ghost Recon” game.
Thankfully, the game features some original pieces of equipment and weapons, including drones that can be used to tag enemies. In addition, the game also features cooperative multiplayer mode. Here, players can be joined by up to three other players. There’s also a single player mode, where player will be joined by three AI teammates
New PvP mode to feature new gaming mechanics
According to ComicBook, the newly released video is meant to "brief" players about the new PvP mode.
The new video gives players more insight as to the best means to optimise one's gaming character. One of the highlights is the new gaming mechanics, which include suppressing fire and sound markers. These will make the game an even more exciting and realistic.
Additionally, Ubisoft also talked more about the new 12 classes along with their weapons and duties.
These are the Artillery, Assassin, Enforcer, Pointman, Medic, Diversionist, Ranger, Sentinel, Tech, Sniper, Scout, and Tank. Players can learn more about the new PvP mode on the studio’s official website.
“Ghost War” PvP mode will be available on all gaming platforms on October 10. Ubisoft will also bring a 4v4 team deathmatch for free to all Ghost Recon players on that day. “Ghost Recon Wildlands” is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
