It looks like a new leak has revealed exciting details surrounding the release of “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.” This apparent leak has surfaced online ahead of the release date of the free PVP mode beta this summer.
Ghost War contents leaked
Following its initial release in March, Ubisoft is set to release a free PVP mode in its popular tactical shooter video game, “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands’. Called the ghost war, its beta is scheduled to take place in late summer before its official release in autumn.
However, a recent leak has revealed the 4v4 pvp mode maps, classes, and weapons coming in the game.
According to the prolific leaker, the maps in Ghost War include Aqua Verde, Barvechos, Espiritu Santo, Flor de Oro, Koani, Libertad, San Mateo, Tabacal, and Media Luna.
Each of the maps is already found in the existing "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open world. However, the development team could make some adjustments in order to maintain an action balance in the multiplayer like adding barriers for cover or get rid of some vehicles and the like.
The data miner also dug a full overview of the maps and in-game screenshots. But fans should note that the data mined intel could still vary when it’s finally released in the game.
A few months back, the same leaker revealed that the 4v4 PVP mode will introduce six classes, namely Assault, Engineer, Scout, Sniper, and Support.
As for the weapons, it will reportedly add assault rifles, carbines, bullpups, DMRs, sniper rifles, shotguns, LMG, and much more.
Free PVP mode beta schedule
In a reveal video released last week, Ubisoft Bucharest lead game designer Lucian Istrate confirmed the beta for 'Ghost War' is scheduled later this summer. This is quite an exciting news for the fans since this huge update will be free.
This multiplayer game mode will allow two teams of highly specialized combat fighters to take on a 4v4 death match experience in a massive, open maps. Istrate said that the development team’s objective in releasing the next PVP mode is to promote the elements of co-op team play and open tactical gameplay in the game.
The lead designer went on to add that gamers can pick from six available classes to upgrade with a host of perks.
He also said that every class assumes a particular role to play, with its own strengths and weaknesses.
“Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands” Ghost War is set to launch on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC this coming fall.
