The exotic merchant Xur is back in “Destiny 2.” The merchant is available from October 20 until October 24. According to a report by GameSpot, players can find Xur near “The Rig” fast travel point on Titan. Players can also use the helpful icon shown on the planet map to locate the merchant. Xur offers four new items for this week, one weapon and one armor piece for each of the game’s guardians. All items can be bought with Legendary Shards. For those who don’t know, Legendary Shards can only be acquired by dismantling a Legendary Gear.

Item details

The first item is a weapon called Sweet Business. It is an automatic rifle that costs 29 Legendary Shards. The second item is called Raiden Flux. It is an armor for the Hunter class, and it costs 23 Legendary Shards. The third item is Doom Fang Pauldron. It is a gauntlet for the Titan class, and it costs 23 Legendary Shards. The fourth and final item is for the class Warlock. It is a gauntlet called Winter's Guile, and it can be bought for 23 Legendary Shards.

Tips on buying exotic items

“Destiny 2” players should take note that each of the items requires a maximum power level of 270 and a base power level of 265. The item values offered by Xur are raised by five because of the Legendary “purple” mod.

This means that players should make sure to buy the items using their highest level character so that it would not go to waste.

Leviathan Raid Prestige mode completed using a bug

In other “Destiny 2” news, the newly launched ultra-difficult Prestige mode for the Leviathan Raid has been completed in a short span of time. According to a report by PC Gamer, the first teams to beat the Leviathan Raid Prestige mode apparently used a glitch.

The developer immediately disqualified the players caught using the glitch. Because of the incident, Bungie removed the Prestige mode to fix the glitches. Some players are very desperate to complete the Prestige mode because it gives a special "Destiny 2" emblem and a guaranteed Raid drop.

New mode for Leviathan Raid

Even without the glitch, some players still find it easy to beat the Prestige mode.

That is why Bungie decided to release a new Leviathan Raid encounters soon. The new “Destiny 2” content will begin on October 31. But Bungie did not announce the specific details of the upcoming content. Players should expect the new mode to be more challenging compared to the Prestige mode, but it should also have better rewards or bonuses.
