Infinity Ward finally released the fourth and last expansion of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.” The downloadable content was initially released on PlayStation 4 approximately one month ago. Now the expansion has been made available to Xbox One and Windows PC. The new expansion is called “Retribution,” and it features four new multiplayer maps. It also features the final Infinite Warfare Zombies chapter entitled “The Beast From Beyond.”

How to acquire?

The “Retribution” expansion pack is available for $14.99. Season Pass holders can directly download it for free.

However, the developer advised Season Pass holders that they should not download the expansion pack directly from the Xbox Store because they will be charged the full price.

Final chapter

The chapter “The Beast From Beyond” features the return of the movie director villain Willard Wyler. The movie director trapped the four lead characters inside a horror film, which is set in a deserted military station on a remote ice planet. “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” players have to fight waves of undead zombies to discover the truth about the horror film and escape. Players will also discover their infected crew members, who will eventually be part of the undead zombies. The final chapter also features new traps, weapons, and much more.

Four new multiplayer maps

The four new multiplayer maps added to “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” are Carnage, Heartland, Altitude, and Depot 22. The Carnage map is set along the coast of California. Carnage looks like a doomsday race track that features a long sightline and many environmental hazards. One of the environmental hazards is a fire trap that can be activated to burn waves of enemies.

The Heartland map is quite similar to the classic map called Warhawk from the previous installments of "Call of Duty." In this map, players can do anything to kill enemies. Players can also use a device that can generate a Black Hole to eliminate massive waves of enemies.

The Altitude map, on the other hand, is set in a fancy building which is located on the edge of the universe.

The elevation of the map will push the players around a chaotic center where they can find flank routes which can be a huge advantage in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." Players can also find floating lush waterfalls that border the Altitude map.

Depot 22 is the final map. In this map, players can fight in a bar to engage with enemies while wall-running in a moving train. Players can also fight in a close-quarter combat. According to a report by Flickering Myth, Depot 22 is like a watering hole at the end of the civilization.
