The latest updates for "WWE 2K18" will feature new WWE, NXT, and Legendary superstars that are added to the sequel's post-launch plans. 2K Games announced five Season Pass contents for the game which include wrestling moves, attributes, and clothing for MyCareer.
New WWE superstars for post-launch
2K Games announced new superstars for "WWE 2K18's" post-launch plans and its season pass would contain DLC packs for the sequel. The DLC wrestlers include NXT rookies Aleister Black, "The Drifter " Elias Samson, Lars Sullivan, Ruby Riot, and current NXT Champion, Drew McIntyre.
They are part of the game's NXT Generation Pack, and it is worth $9.99.
The Enduring Icons Pack will feature "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix, Matt and Jeff Hardy, and the legendary tag team, The Rock n' Roll Express. The DLC pack is also worth $9.99 online. Matt Hardy announced the inclusion of the Hardy Boyz on Twitter and players could use the season pass to buy them or get the Deluxe Editon of the game.
The sequel will have the largest roster in the history of "WWE" games from veterans and legends like John Cena, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Triple H, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Goldberg, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and The Rock, to the next generation of grapplers like Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Braun Strauman, Samoa Joe and more.
Season Pass bonuses
2K Sports revealed that the post-launch DLC packs for "WWE 2K18" will feature in-game bonuses for the sequel's MyCareer mode. The Accelerator Pack will allow players to boost the attributes of their progression in MyCareer such as unlocking contents from the game's VC purchasable section and upgrading the overall stats and rankings of all playable wrestlers on the roster.
The MyPlayer Kick Start Pack will allow players to upgrade the attributes and stats of their created wrestler. They can unlock new clothing and wrestling gear to enhance their in-ring mic promos and wrestling skills in the game.
The New Moves Pack will allow players to unlock additional wrestling moves for their created character.
These moves include Ty Dillinger's Tie Breaker, Kassius Ohno's Crash Landing, the Pumphandle Death Valley Driver, and the Swinging Sleeper Slam.
The game publisher confirmed that the PC version of "WWE 2K18" will launch on Oct. 17, the same day as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Those who pre-order the game will have a chance to play as Kurt Angle on the roster.
