Tom Clancy's "The Division" is back featuring the Global Events system. The new addition to the system called "Outbreak" has emerged as one dynamic feature that allows players to customize, participate in time-limited challenges, and a new achievement system that elevates the dynamics of the game. The gameplay modifiers are some of the most interesting features included in the new Update.

Apps for PC gave a detailed description of the new update where the encrypted caches are considered loot boxes that include random customization. There are two ways you can obtain the caches and that is by way of collecting keys or directly buying them using Premium Credits.

The Base of Operations, on the other hand, features an interactive mirror that helps players see their new appearance once they've changed.

The Division update 1.7 feature

The achievement system in the game features the Commendation where players can collect vanity items that readily show off their achievements; these commendations are called Patches. The rest of the updates based on Ubisoft's website include face masks, face customization, encrypted cache, classified gear sets, weapon balance, exotics and more.

Some of the other patch notes on "The Division" update 1.7 include fixing of "no sound" on the NPC beating a dead body. The issue of tattoo saturation has also been fixed and incorrect NPC animations were updated.

Furthermore, the Striker's Battlegear, Final Measure, and Sentry's Call are all updated.

Limited free Survival expansion

Meanwhile, Ubisoft is also offering the Survival expansion for free from August 18 - 20. This is a great opportunity for those who didn't have a copy of the expansion and it is available on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 consoles.

Currently, "The Division" has three expansions to date and these are the Underground, Survival, and Last Stand. Not all of the game's update provided enhancement to the game. Over a year ago, several issues hounded the game that eventually prodded Ubisoft to launch a dedicated server for the game.

"The Division" Update 1.7 will begin on August 15, 2017 at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST until August 22.

According to Kotaku, prior to the arrival of the new update, the game had received several new features such as the addition of "High Value Targets," "World Tiers," and the dozens of missions that supported the "Survival" expansion.
