Pokemon GO players are still not satisfied with the legendary birds Lugia, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos. Players want to see all of the famous Legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Raikou, and Entei. The legendary Pokemon Mewtwo has been all over the news after it was first seen at the Pokemon GO Yokohoma stadium in Japan. Players around the world are very excited about the chance to catch the next legendary Pokemon. According to a report from Pokemon GO Hub, Mewtwo is coming worldwide through Exclusive Raid Battles.

What is the difference between Exclusive Raid Battles and Normal Raid Battles?

There is a huge difference between the two raids. An exclusive raid battle will appear periodically around the world, while the normal raid does not. In exclusive raids, players will be invited if they have completed a recent raid at a PokeGym where the exclusive raid will take place. Players do not need to worry because the invitations will be given in advance, so that they will have enough time to prepare for the legendary Mewtwo.

How strong is Mewtwo?

Mewtwo is the first legendary Pokemon that will be available in exclusive raids, but more legendaries are expected to arrive soon. The recently released legendary Pokemon has a Boss CP of 49430 and a Max Capture CP of 2275.

People already know that Mewtwo cannot be defeated by only one player. But just like any other legendary, it has its weaknesses. The required minimum players to defeat it is still unknown.

How to beat Mewtwo?

Mewtwo is a psychic-type legendary Pokemon that was introduced as part of generation 1. The best way to face it is to use the most versatile defender and attacker, the Tyranitar (with a bite quick move and crunch or stone edge charge move).

Tyranitar’s dark-type moves deal great damage to Mewtwo, and it has strong resistance to psychic attacks.

Players should watch out for Mewtwo’s charge move called “Focus Blast.” It can only be used three times but once it hits, it will deal devastating lethal damage. Players are recommended to dodge the charge attack.

Other counters

Mewtwo’s weaknesses are bug, ghost, and dark type Pokemon. Players can also use these alternative counters and move sets - Houndoom (Snarl and Foul Play), Scizor (Fury Cutter and X-Scissor), Gyarados (Bite and Hydro Pump/ Crunch), Pinsir (Fury Cutter and X-Scissor), Gengar (Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball), and Dragonite with outrage.
