As Sony prepares for its big media showcase at the Paris Games, there has been some question as to when the November releases for the PlayStation Plus store will be announced. Eager fans will want to know when the latest free games are added to the store. Fans can still find out the release dates for the top games for November.

Top video games announced

Polygon reported that some of the most anticipated games of the year will be released during the month of November. On November 3, "Call of Duty: World War II" will be released for the PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.

Windows users will get "Nioh: Complete Edition," a game about feudal Japan. It will include two modes: action and movie. On the same day, "Sonic Forces" will be released on the following consoles: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. It's a weird game only Sonic fans will love. Nintendo Switch gets "Doom" on November 10.

Fans of Mario will also see "Mario Party: The Top 100" on November 10 as well. It is the top 100 mini-games from all 10 Mario party games. "Need for Speed Payback: will appear on the following consoles, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. It brings three new characters for gamers to play. On November 14, "L.A. Noire" (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) makes its debut, and for an extra $10, Nintendo Switch players can play the original game and receive bonus content.

Lego fans will see a sequel, "Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One), and it includes locations like New York City in 2099, ancient Egypt, and the Old West.

November 17 will see the release of four new games: "Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" for Nintendo 3DS, "Star Wars Battlefront 2" for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One, "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch, and "The Sims 4" for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Rounding out the month "The Inpatient" for PlayStation VR debuts on November 21, and on November 28 "Resident Evil Revelations" comes to Nintendo Switch.

Sony's game announcement

The Daily Star UK reported that the announcement for the free games for PlayStation One probably won't come on Monday when Sony debuts its media showcase at the Paris Games.

Much of Tuesday will be taken up with news from Paris, so the most likely date for the announcement is Wednesday. Sony usually releases its free games on the first Tuesday of the month.

The UK Express said that the current lineup of free games will make way for the new games. The announcement is expected on Wednesday. Sony announced a PlayStation Plus rise in price. Subscribers can expect to see their subscriptions expire by the end of the year. Halloween is this week, and there are a lot of excellent deals and sales available for those who are looking to purchase new games for their PlayStation 4.
