Details regarding the free Xbox Live Gold titles
Racing fans will be pleased because Xbox One will start the month of September with free copies of “Forza Motorsport 5: Game of the Year Edition.” Originally released back in November 2013, this amazing racing game will be available for download for the whole month. The Game of the Year edition includes the Top Gear DLC car pack that adds ten vehicles in the game. The decision to release this game for free is quite strange because Forza Motorsport 7 will be launching this upcoming October. However, we can assume that this move is a part of their marketing strategy to promote the upcoming title by teasing the players with the aforementioned free game.
On September 16, “Oxenfree” will be available for download for the gamers on Xbox One. This atmospheric action-adventure game developed by Night School studio was released back in January 2016, making it the most recent game for September.
For the Xbox 360 users, “Hydro Thunder Hurricane” will be available for download during the first half of September.
“Hydro Thunder Hurricane” is a boat racing video game developed by Vector Unit. Then, starting on September 16, “Battlefield 3” will be available for download. Released back in October 2011, “Battlefield 3” is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The good news is that these games are also available on Xbox One through its backward compatibility feature.
Some of the free games for August will still be available next week, particularly the “Trials Fusion” which will still be available for download until September 15. Stay tuned for more.
