Quantic Dream will let fans experience the PlayStation 4 exclusive “Detroit Become Human” during Gamescon. The event will take place in the later part of August 2017. At this event, the game developer confirmed that players can test out the Hostage Demo.

Those who will be attending the Gamescon will surely enjoy the Hostage Demo that the game developer has prepared. Aside from that, fans are anticipating that more details about the upcoming title will be revealed.

On their official Twitter account, Quantic Dream announced that the demo will be available at the PlayStation Booth during the event for “Detroit: Become Human.” While there are no additional details revealed, fans are excited to see what this demo is all about. Some fans are already speculating that it could be the same demo that was available during the E3 2017.

The upcoming Gamescon 2017 will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 22 and August 25. The event is one of the biggest gaming events and its popularity has attracted thousands of annual visitors.

The game developer previously confirmed that the game will be released in 2018. So far, no specific release date has been revealed.

The upcoming neo-noir thriller is directed by David Cage who also directed the popular game "Heavy Rain and Beyond." It was also previously explained that the entire game will take approximately 8 to 10 hours.

Contrasting the regular games, fans can expect that there will be no usual game over scenario in this title. The game will follow the decision-making gameplay of every player.

The cast that was officially revealed for the game includes Kara portrayed by Valorie Curry, Connor played by Bryan Dechart and Markus portrayed by Jesse Williams. More playable characters are anticipated to be revealed soon.

Story

Detroit: Become Human” is the second title from Quantic Dream after the successful release of “Beyond: Two Souls,” which was released for PlayStation 3 in 2013. The game is set in the busy streets of Michigan metropolis in a not so distant future. The game follows the story of androids employed by humans to perform everyday tasks. The excitement starts when these androids realized that they could be more than assistants and obedient human servants.
