The “Call Of Duty: WWII” Private Multiplayer Beta will launch this month. For those who will participate in the Beta, there will be three maps and a War mode. Moreover, players can choose from five available Divisions and three other modes.
Private Multiplayer Beta
Sledgehammer Games recently released the trailer for the Multiplayer Beta ahead of its official launch. For PlayStation 4 users who pre-order the game, they can enjoy the Beta starting August 25. It will run until the weekend and will resume on September 1 for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.
The Beta will end on September 4, 2017.
Three new Maps, Divisions, and more
According to Sledgehammer, three new maps will be available during the Beta. These are Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar. Alongside the new maps are team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. Moreover, players will be given the opportunity to try the latest War mode in the game. This new mode will see one side defending and the other side attacking the objective.
In the beta, Breakout will be the available operation. Aside from those, players can also try on the five new Divisions in the game. The Divisions include the Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Mountain, and Armored Division. It is worth noting that during the Beta not all skills, weapons, and score streaks will be available.
Moreover, progress made by the player will be gated.
According to the game developer, the upcoming Beta will contain a very small portion of what the entire “Call of Duty: WWII” will offer to the players when it officially launches. Fans are expecting more information will be revealed about the upcoming first-person shooter title from Sledgehammer Games.
Most likely, additional details about the game and the Beta will be dropped during the upcoming Gamescon 2017.
Campaign Mode
Meanwhile, the Campaign mode of the game will send the player on a mission to be an undercover Nazi agent. In this mode, the player will wear a German uniform and will act and speak like the enemies. When in this mode, players are advised to take extra caution so as not to attract attention and create suspicions from the Nazis.
