If you have been waiting to own the PlayStation 4 Pro in white in ages, well, the wait is finally over. Sony is now officially selling a Ps4 Pro in Glacier White as part of its Destiny 2 bundle that will hit the markets on September 6.
The most awaited console will come with a matching glacier white controller. It will also give gamers an early access to bonus content for Destiny 2 before other gamers can. Meaning, aside from getting the colored console and Destiny 2 pack game, you will also have the chance to see premium contents of the game.
What is included in the 'Destiny 2' content pack?
If you are a true gamer and a fan of 'Destiny' who hasn't yet upgraded to a PS4 Pro, this might be a great deal for you. The limited-edition content pack bundle with the console will come with a physical copy of the game. Sony will also include codes for its Expansion Pass.
Access to a multiplayer map, a new ship, three-person co-op Strike, and an "exotic weapon" will be given to users as part of the digital content pack. Destiny 2's Digital Deluxe Edition, it will feature a legendary sword, a legendary emote and a Cabal Empire-themed emblem.
How much will the PS4 Bundle Cost?
Sony offers the Digital Deluxe Edition for just $99.99 while the console bundle, which contains a PS4 Pro in "glacier white" with a 1 TB hard drive and a controller, is now available for pre-order for the price of $449.99 in the U.S.
According to the official announcement, it will also be available in Europe soon, but Sony has not yet announced pricing for that region yet.
For the record, Sony sells the PS4 Pro for $399, so this bundle delegates a savings of about $50. When Sony was asked if the Japanese tech firm will sell the glacier white PS4 Pro on its own, its answer is vague since they are not yet talking about it as of now.
Is this the first time for Sony?
'Destiny 2' package will be the first time Sony has offered the PS4 Pro in a color other than the previous releases, such as the Jet Black. However, this bundle looks similar to the launch of the first 'Destiny' game bundle with the release of a glacier white version of the original PlayStation 4.
And as far as the history is the concern, after that package, Sony did eventually release that console on its own in Europe. This time, it was separated from the bundle. So far, gamers and tech enthusiasts have already seen white, gold and silver variants of the slim PS4. However, only the gold version was available for stand-alone purchase in the United States.
