The Sony PlayStation 4 library has gotten grown since its release a couple of years ago — and after a year when "Witcher 3" and "Uncharted 4" were released, comes another year that will surely keep PlayStation fans busy on their consoles.

"Persona 5"

Every PlayStation 2 owner will surely remember "Persona 3" and 4, but a few months ago Sony and Atlas released the sequel to the Japanese role-playing game. This game is centered once again on high school students who have the innate ability to summon monsters based on their emotions and characters called "Personas." This game does tackle some harsh issues like suicide, government corruption, sex harassments, and even plagiarism.

The game is focused on killing monsters and entering persons "Castle" to change their behavior and outlook in life. This game is quite hard to describe without spoiling anything so if you have not played the game pick up a copy and dwell into the life of Personas. "Persona 5" was released last September 15 of last year and it was designed by Naoya Maeda and was developed by Atlus and P Studio. This game is a must-have this year for those who have not played any of the franchise yet.

"Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age"

After its debut on the Playstation 2 11 years ago, "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" makes a return in high definition on the Sony Playstation 4. The game is centered upon a thief that has high ambitions in the name of Vaan, who later on meets new people like Balthier, Fran, Ashe, Penelo, and Basch, who support his cause in rebelling against the Citys Government.

There are a few tweaks like a new soundtrack, but you can still switch to the old soundtrack if you want a nostalgic feel to it. Also, a new aspect of the game is the international license board where you get to pick out certain classes and jobs for each of your main characters, this restricts your choices but also adds a more specific role for each of your party members during battle.

"Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Remastered" was released last July 11 for North America and Europe and July 13 in Asia and other parts of the world. This game was written by Daisuke Watanabe, Miwa Shoda, and Yasumi Matsuno and was developed and published by Square Enix.

There are more games to look forward to later this year for the Playstation 4 some of these are NBA 2K17, NBA Live 2017, "Destiny 2", "Spiderman," and the new downloadable content for "Horizon Zero Dawn" and "Diable 3." Sony has been doing great in making its console successful, and we can only hope that their momentum can continue.
