The latest update for "Injustice 2" will feature another "Mortal Kombat" character crossing over to the popular DC comics fighting game.

Cyrax as a DLC fighter?

NetherRealm Studios producer Ed Boon teased the possible arrival of "Mortal Kombat" character, Cyrax in the roster of "Injustice 2" as he tweeted an image of the latter's cybernetic armor. Cyrax was first teased in the sequel as an Easter egg during the game's story mode when Catwoman recited Brother Eye's password "LK-4D4," which happens to be the latter's serial number.

"Injustice 2" already featured Sub-Zero as a guest character in its first DLC pack alongside Jason Todd/Red Hood and "Teen Titan" member Starfire.

There are also speculations that the Thunder God, Raiden could be added to the roster as a future DLC character.

While gaming fans are still skeptical about Boon's tweet since he is notorious at fooling around with them, the possibility of having three "Mortal Kombat" characters in "Injustice 2" is unprecedented.

NetherRealm Studios has been known to add guest characters from their games such Freddy Krueger, Kratos, Alien, Predator, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface. In fact, "Mortal Kombat's" popular ninja hellspawn, Scorpion became a guest fighter in the first "Injustice" game, which paved the way for more guest character appearances in its sequel.

With the first DLC pack revealed, it is everyone's guess as to who are the remaining six characters in the roster. Some of the names include Black Manta, Doctor Manhattan, Rorschach, The Atom, Zatanna, John Constantine, Aqualad, Red Tornado and Ra's al' Ghul.

Bizarro premiere skin added

Another DC character joining "Injustice 2" will be Superman's imperfect clone, Bizzaro as special premiere skin.

Bizarro was first seen in the Starfire gameplay trailer at San Diego Comic-Con.

The Superman clone was also seen in the "Injustice" comic book and fought Kal-El during their first encounter before he was killed by Doomsday.

Players will notice some changes on Superman's attacks when they equipped the Bizarro skin, as he has the opposite of some of the Man of Steel's signature attacks like the fire breath and freeze vision.

Bizarro is the latest character skin in the game, joining other DC heroes and villains like the Reverse-Flash, Power Girl, Green Lantern John Stewart, Jay Garrick, Vixen, Mr. Freeze, and Grid.

There are also rumors that CW Network versions of The Flash, Supergirl, and Green Arrow will join the game as DLC premier skins.

"Injustice 2" is currently available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
