It has been five years since the last installment of the video game was released, thus the game enthusiasts are waiting for a new one. It looks like it will still take a while before the video game company reveals a new chapter of the game series, as it is not yet in development. But, avid fans are still hopeful that the title will be revealed in 2017.
Bethesda Vice President insists no ‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ coming anytime soon
Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines has repeatedly said that the much-anticipated game won’t be revealed anytime soon. In fact, when the head of the company was asked on Twitter if there will be any news about it, he tweeted that it will take a lot of years before they even talk of it. Another fan even told Hines that he is confident that the video game publisher is going to spill details about said title at E3 2017.

Evidently, Bethesda is firm that fans won’t hear anything about the new game, and remain mum about it. However, with the success of “The Elder Scrolls 5,” they will surely look to replicate that success in the future.
The fifth installment in the game series sold more than 20 million copies and even netted the video game company a profit. In fact, it even has a remastered version released in 2016. Bethesda, too, is known for keeping things under wraps when it comes to new games, and will only give official details when it's about to release a new title.

When Bethesda unveiled “Fallout 4,” fans first heard the news of it just six months before its official release date at E3 2015. Hence, if the company has a press conference at E3 2017, some assume that it will be about “The Elder Scrolls 6.” According to reports, the much-awaited title might be out as early as November 2017, while some leaks reveal that it will be released in 2019. But, fans should take this with a grain of salt and wait for Bethesda’s official announcement.
