The action-packed "Diablo 3" will finally receive some significant new content with the upcoming release of the Rise of the Necromancer DLC pack. Blizzard has finally ended the long months of rumors and speculations about the Necromancer DLC release date.

It’s now announced the official release date and will hit on all supported gaming platforms on June 27 for $14.99.

First announced in November 2016, the much-talked Necromancer DLC has been much-anticipated release for the aging Blizzard’s hack and slash game. The upcoming DLC is expected to bring lots of new features on board, including new classes, greater gifts, and seasonal contents.

The Rise if the Necromancer DLC

According to GameRant, the Rise of the Necromancer DLC will add the much-awaited Necromancer class, which said to be based on the previous Blizzard’s entry, Diablo 2. Like any other character, the DLC pack can be played in both the Adventure mode and the campaign mode. The DLC pack also includes a number of less significant components, which include a set of cosmetics wings, a non-combat pet, banner customization, portrait frame, and pennant.

In addition to the new features, “Diablo 3” fans will also get two more additional characters slots and stab tabs, but the latter is only available to “Diablo” PC players.Blizzard also said that the newly announced Necromancer DLC is of parity with the other classes. This new DLC content is supposed to contain a new selection of unique skills born of blood, bone, and poison akin to the one that Blizzard brought in on “Diablo 2.” It will also feature the same amount of story dialogue as other classes within the campaign, Blizzard announced.

What to expect from the new DLC pack

Blizzard is reportedly bringing tons of digital goodies for “Diablo 3” fans. In line with the big announcement, Blizzard has released a new Necromancer Sizzle Reel trailer that detailed and showed the sort of item and features included in the upcoming Necromancer DLC pack.

The following are the complete lists of what to expect from the next DLC pack:

  • Wings of the Crypt Guardian
  • Two Stash Tabs
  • Banner and Sigil
