"God of War" is again listed for another release date set in the middle of January next year. It can be recalled that last month the game was posted by a Portuguese retailer claiming that it will be available by September 17, 2017. With the proximity of E3 2017 event taking place, it appears that more reports like this will flood the Internet.

Latest leak

Spielegrotte, a German retailer, listed the release date and price of the Collector's Edition of "God of War" on its website. The post reveals the items included in the Collector's Edition and claims it is set to release in the first part of 2018, specifically on January 15 for PlayStation 4.

Several speculations about this recent listing flooded the Internet. Some people believe that the date is possibly a mere placeholder. Sony is yet to make a comment regarding this most recent posting.

Collector's Edition

"God of War" Collector's Edition includes a load of collectible items that comes with a $200 price. Among the items listed is the game itself. Other items include a statue of Kratos and Atreus fighting against a couple of Helwalkers in a towering nine-inch size. There is also a Steelbook case, an exclusive Lithograph print, cloth game world map, digital soundtrack, and two toy figurines of carved sons. Moreover, there is the Shield pack with three in-game shields and an exclusively dynamic theme.

If the latest leak turns out to be accurate, then it is most likely that the Japanese electronics and gaming giant will announce the release date of the game at the E3 2017 event happening this June. Looking at the pattern, the game was announced during the 2016 E3 event, so there is a great chance that its release date and other highlights might get a big reveal in the upcoming event too.

PSVR game

Another story about the game claims that it will release its PSVR version during the E3 event. According to reports, the Santa Monica leg of Sony, which is making a demo of the game for the PSVR has finally developed it into a full virtual reality game. The source of the news is within Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica Studio.

The tipster was quoted saying that the team in Santa Monica is working on a second wave massive game for PlayStation Virtual Reality. He added that the information will be revealed soon that will be received well by the solid PlayStaion fans.

All these reports about "God of War" are still speculations until Sony confirm it. This is all we have at the moment. We will update you with more information as soon as we get official ones from Sony.
