Krispy Kreme is offering Pumpkin Spice doughnuts on one day only. Mark your calendar for Friday, September 8 to get the Pumpkin Spice Glazed Doughnuts at all participating locations in the United States and Canada. They will be available for that one day only from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. while supplies last.
Pumpkin Spice Glazed Doughnut is back
Krispy Kreme is capitalizing on the upcoming fall season by giving people a taste of pumpkin. The iconic doughnut is the same as the original glazed ones that most customers purchase except this kind is flavored with cinnamon and pumpkin spice.
It is too bad the offer is good for only one day because that particular doughnut is a favorite.
This year, the chain is offering it more than a month earlier. Last year, it was sold only on October 26 in celebration of National Pumpkin Day. That was the first time the chain had changed the flavor of the Original Glazed Doughnut.
This promotion isn't the only one Krispy Kreme has offered recently. Just a couple of weeks ago, it offered a chocolate-glazed doughnut the weekend before the solar eclipse that happened on Monday, August 21, 2017. In August, a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup doughnut was launched, but it did not come for a limited time. It is still available for those who want a taste of peanut butter in their doughnut.
About Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has been around for 80 years and is a favorite among doughnut lovers. The chain has 1,004 locations in the United States and other countries. Even though it specializes in doughnuts, items such as baked goods, sandwiches, frozen beverages, and soft drinks are also sold.
Fans of the sweet treat know they do not have to go to the company's locations to purchase them. In the United States, the products are sold in grocery stores, convenience stores, at some gas stations, and in discount stores such as Walmart and Target. However, specialty items such as the Pumpkin Spice Glazed Doughnuts are sold only at the Krispy Kreme store.
Pumpkin flavors at other places
Krispy Kreme isn't the only company that is thinking about fall already. Starbucks will soon offer its popular Pumpkin Spice Latte. The pumpkin spice products are not limited to just doughnuts and coffee. In recent years, other companies have sold pumpkin spice smoothies, M&Ms, deodorant, body scrub, air fresheners, candles, and many products that taste or smell like pumpkin spice.
