The NBA brought back a fuller slate of games for February 4 and several players stepped it up with impressive performances. That included a few NBA MVP candidates, as well as some unsung heroes stepping up in the absence of injured stars on their team.

1

James Harden - Houston Rockets

Some people might get sick of seeing Harden dominate NBA stat headlines, but he keeps on doing so. On Monday, it was a 44-point performance along with eight rebounds, six assists, three steals, and a block in a 118-110 win at Phoenix.

2

Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee Bucks

It was another near triple-double by the Greek Freak on Monday. Giannis posted 30 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists in a 113-94 win at Brooklyn. In a few days, he'll select his 2019 NBA All-Star team.

3

Andre Drummond - Detroit Pistons

Andre Drummond continues with his strong double-double performances. The latest was a 27 points and 12 rebounds effort. That helped Detroit pick up the 129-103 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

4

Marvin Bagley III - Sacramento Kings

Marvin Bagley III was the No. 2 pick, but has been overshadowed by the likes of Luka Doncic and Trae Young. Monday marked a career night for the Kings' rookie as he came off the bench to score 24 points and grab 12 rebounds. Bagley also had four assists, three steals, and a block in the 127-112 win over San Antonio. If that wasn't enough, check out his 360-degree alley oop slam.

5

Darren Collison - Indiana Pacers

With Victor Oladipo sidelined by injury, other Pacers players are having to step up. Guard Darren Collison gave the solid effort on Monday with 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting. He also had six assists, four rebounds, and a steal in a 109-107 win over New Orleans.
