The NBA All-Star Game takes place on a Sunday, which gives a few days to build into the excitement of the annual game. On Friday (February 15), fans were able to watch the Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge. Each of these produced an MVP. On Saturday (February 16), it was the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Shootout, and Slam Dunk Contest. Below is look at the past few days' winners in these events.
Famous Los - Celebrity All-Star Game MVP
It was a much more competitive Celebrity All-Star Game in 2019 than ever before. That was thanks to noteworthy performances from Ray Allen, Jay Williams, Quavo, and the MVP Famous Los. He finished with 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting to lead the Home team to an 82-80 win.

Kyle Kuzma - Rising Stars Challenge MVP
The Los Angeles Lakers knew their future was bright, as last season wrapped up, because of the emergence of Kyle Kuzma as a scoring threat. He continues to show that ability even with the superstar presence of LeBron James on the roster. In Friday night's Rising Stars Challenge, Kuzma led Team USA to victory with 35 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Jayson Tatum - Skills Challenge winner
It was the Boston Celtics' second-year star who captured the trophy in the first event of All-Star Saturday Night. Jayson Tatum showed off his skills, including dribbling around obstacles, making a precision pass, scoring a layup, and hitting a long-range shot. In the finals, he threw up a prayer from just over half-court to defeat speedy Hawks guard Trae Young.

Joe Harris - Brooklyn Nets
When the three-point contest field was announced, many fans expected it might come down to a shootout involving brothers Stephen and Seth Curry. That was only half accurate. Seth failed to move on early, but Stephen kept doing his thing. So did the Nets' Joe Harris. The Brooklyn sharpshooter ended up with 26 points in his final round to edge Stephen Curry's 24 in a fun finale. Harris leaves with the trophy and puts his name in more headlines than usual for the under-the-radar star.

Hamidou Diallo - Slam Dunk Contest winner
Speaking of under-the-radar, how about Thunder player Hamidou Diallo? Of the four Slam Dunk Contest participants, he was probably the least known of them all. It featured the likes of hometown favorite Miles Bridges, NY Knicks star Dennis Smith Jr., and another local star in former Wake Forest player, John Collins of the Hawks. However, Diallo dunked over a number of stars throughout his performance. Among his tricks was an impressive dunk over the 7-foot-1 Shaq, en route to his trophy win.
