Ever since "Game of Thrones" wrapped up filming Season 8 back in July, fans have been wondering about when their favorite show is going to return with its final season. HBO even shut down rumors and hints. And while the exact date still remains a well-kept secret, at least we now know, thanks to HBO, that the long-awaited final season of "Game of Thrones" will premiere in April 2019.
Not only was the official release month announced, but HBO also dropped a teaser along with the bunch of promotional photos followed by #ForTheThrone hashtag. That's later than expected for "GoT" Season 8. So, without further ado, let's check them all out.
HBO has launched #ForTheThrone campaign
"It's a multi-phased, global marketing campaign," HBO revealed, "that will unfold over the months leading into the final season."
