It was another night in the NBA, but not just any night. Jimmy Butler made his Philadelphia 76ers debut, but it didn't go as planned. Also, King James moved on up the all-time scoring list to pass an all-time legend. In addition to that, a number of teams won behind some great player performances.
LeBron James - Los Angeles Lakers
All hail the King, as LeBron James is now at No. 5 on the NBA's all-time scoring list. LeBron put up a cool stat line of 44 points with 10 boards and nine assists in the win. He passed Wilt Chamberlain on the scoring list and helped the Lakers get another win to go to 8-6 overall.

Nikola Vucevic - Orlando Magic
With 30 points and eight boards, the Magic big man helped lead the home team to a 111-106 victory. It spoiled a triple-double win for Joel Embiid, and Jimmy Butler's debut for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Karl-Anthony Towns - Minnesota Timberwolves
With Jimmy Butler out of Minnesota, it seems to have freed KAT to start stepping up as the Wolves' star. He had a double-double on Wednesday, with 25 points, 16 boards, and three assists to help defeat the Pelicans, 107-100. It's certainly looking like a season for big men to make statements.

Blake Griffin - Detroit Pistons
Griffin picked up a double-double on Wednesday to help Detroit top the Raptors, 106-104. Griffin's 30 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists were key in the win. It's the second straight loss for Kawhi Leonard and Toronto at home, and brought the Pistons to 7-6.

Paul George - Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder have been moving on with the wins. On Wednesday night, Paul George recorded 35 points, seven boards, and five assists to lead the way past the Knicks, 128-103.
