5 players to watch in Packers vs. Seahawks TNF game

Green Bay and Seattle play on Thursday Night Football, both needing a big win.

NFL Thursday Night Football this week sees two of the toughest and most successful teams of the last decade, as far as the NFC goes, face off. The Green Bay Packers set up to battle the Seattle Seahawks and the two teams both need a big win. The Packers sit at 4-4-1 and are third place in the NFC North. The Seahawks are 4-5 and sit in second place in the NFC West. There is almost no chance the Seahawks catch the Los Angeles Rams but need to stay in the Wildcard race. The Packers are still within shot of catching the Chicago Bears, though. Here are five players to watch in this big TNF game.

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers ranks sixth in passing yards this season and he is as accurate as ever, with only one interception and 17 touchdowns.

Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson is doing little this season, ranked 25th in passing yards (1,967), although he does have 21 touchdown passes.

DeVante Adams

DeVante Adams has stepped up as Aaron Rodgers top target, ranked 11th in the NFL in receiving yards (787) and eighth in receptions (62).

Bobby Wagner

The Seahawks once great defense is shaky, ranked 17th against the run. Bobby Wagner will have to lead the defense in a strong effort to stop Green Bay.

Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones missed the first few games of the season with a suspension but has roared back to life. Last weekend, he ran for a career-high 145 yards and two touchdowns.
