The latest episode of "WWE Raw" brought plenty of surprises throughout the show. The majority of those involved the members of The Shield. Below is what fans need to know in case they missed Monday's episode of "WWE Raw."
Reigns delivered unfortunate news
Sometimes, real life makes a serious intersection with WWE stories, and changes things. Fans were surprised and saddened as Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa'i) delivered the news that he's had leukemia for 11 years. That leukemia was in remission, but has returned. With that, he announced he was relinquishing the Universal title and going to spend time battling this. He'll now be with his family, as he fights this tough fight.

Will fans walk with Elias?
A few major turns happened on Monday's show. The first of them was a welcome surprise, as resident music star Elias made a face turn. After getting berated by Baron Corbin, Elias seemed to back down and walk backstage. Moments later, he arrived back out, guitar in hand, to smack down the Constable of "Raw." Fans may be all over this one, and it may put Elias into a different spot on the card. Bravo.

New tag team champions
Not all of the news was sad, at least not until the finale. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose made Reigns proud by going on to defeat Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre for the "WWE Raw" tag team titles. However, now that championship has some surprising intrigue behind it.
Surprising heel turn ends 'WWE Raw'
After the big championship win, the heel turn arrived. This time it was "The Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose, who turned against his tag partner Seth Rollins. After a DDT, it left Rollins knocked out. From the beginning to the end, fans received a show full of surprises, with this one leading fans to wonder what's next for The Shield.
