Reigns delivered unfortunate news

Sometimes, real life makes a serious intersection with WWE stories, and changes things. Fans were surprised and saddened as Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa'i) delivered the news that he's had leukemia for 11 years. That leukemia was in remission, but has returned. With that, he announced he was relinquishing the Universal title and going to spend time battling this. He'll now be with his family, as he fights this tough fight.

Now that the Universal title is vacated/relinquished, it means a new champion will be decided. The official word is that Braun Strowman will battle Brock Strowman for the title at the WWE Crown Jewel event.
