For those who missed out, Saturday night was the official Los Angeles Lakers home opener. It featured an exciting matchup with James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Quavo debuts rap song for LeBron's debut
Hip-hop star Quavo, from the group Migos, unveiled this new track in dedication of LeBron's home opener. The "King of L.A." was the official theme song for LeBron's debut in the purple and gold, as King James finally played for Staples Center.

A rookie rivalry reunion - James and Melo
The game featured the 33rd meeting involving superstars LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. Both players have been a part of multiple teams since that famous NBA draft 15 years ago. On Saturday, Melo was on the winning side of this one, but they'll meet again.

Look at LeBron's first dunk
A lot happened in Saturday night's game, so much so that maybe LeBron's highlights and stats were lost. This was among the highlights, as he recorded his first official dunk in the building. A sweet out of bounds save turned into a pass to LeBron, who flew down the lane for a two handed jam.

Just like fashion fans want to know what their favorite stars are wearing at awards ceremonies, sneaker heads and NBA fans want to know about the kicks. King James stats, highlight reel
The Los Angeles home debut brought 24 points, five boards, and five assists for James. Unfortunately, his team took the loss, 124-115, to the Houston Rockets. However, James has looked solid in his first few games and that win is right around the corner.
