The residents of our planet have an undying fascination for things that have a tinge of mystery in them. Doesn’t matter how big or small, as long as there is something mysterious, it is bound to draw our attention and keep it fixated for ridiculously large amounts of time. You could take examples from any point in time, and we’ll prove our claim right. There could be no figure effortlessly compensating all elements of mystery and suave other than a secret agent, and those as far as everyone can agree, have made a permanent residence in our minds and heart alike.

The most common motion picture example one would normally come up with would be James Bond, because, let’s face it, that’s an absolute no-brainer. Confident, womanizing, always alert, cunning, and overall mysterious and unpredictable, a secret agent is everything a woman would want and a man would aspire to be. When you pan your attention to the realm of animated television shows that have flawlessly adapted this very concept to create a successful show that has notoriously gathered fame and fandom over the years, one would think of “Archer.

Reed and his genius

Despite its globe wide recognition for its art style, animation, characters, and storyline, “Archer” would have never come to fruition if it weren’t for Adam Reed’s show being canceled on Adult Swim.

Reed’s show named Frisky Dingo, which was canceled after it ran its course of two whole seasons, drove him to conceive this genius. three Primetime Emmy Awards, four Critics Choice Awards, and two Gold Derby Awards. The series has also received fifteen Annie Award nominations, among others, for outstanding achievement in animation, writing, direction, and voice acting.

The ninth season is scheduled to premiere on April 25, 2018. Reed plans to conclude the series after its tenth season.
