“house of cards” is still waiting to be renewed, but theories and assumptions about its possible sixth season are now emerging. As the Emmy-nominated television show’s executive producers, Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson, talked about the previous chapter.
According to IBTimes, the political drama is about to tell a different story when it once again hits the small screens. Viewers might see Francis Underwood otherwise known as Frank (Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) in a shocking situation.
New twists and turns
In the possible “House of Cards” Season 6, Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson want to include new twist and turn of events in the lives of Frank and Claire Underwood.
This way, they can retain the viewers’ support as they wait to see the shocking revelations in the lives of the two controversial political figures.
"The vein [and] the artery of the show is so set in stone,” Robin Wright told the Hollywood Reporter. The 51-year-old star explained that the television show has the ability to live on its own and they are just improving some of it by trying not to recycle any ideas used by everyone else. She also added that they have to come up with new “twists and turns” in this kind of drama, and surprise the fans with unexpected happenings.
Wright, who also plays as the web series’ executive producer, also hinted that Frank Underwood might fall out a victim as he tries to beat Claire Underwood in the coming new installment.
The “Wonder Woman” star continued to say that the on-screen couple both have the capacity to do anything that puts a little bit of mystery to the series. “They are both capable of anything!” she said.
As Kevin Spacey is also the web drama’s executive producer, she revealed that they are both playing with that idea behind the camera.
And one of their moves is not to give the viewers what they expect to see. She unveiled that it is the trick that they have been doing all the while.
Revelations from the previous season
Meanwhile, in another interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson talked about what they did in “House of Cards” Season 5.
Pugliese revealed that the hardest scene they ever did in the previous chapter was its last scene before it bid goodbye. “That's true every season,” he revealed. He, too, can’t believe that they had managed to “steal an election,” which they wished that they had made harder.
