Pictures surfaced over the weekend of actress Scarlett Johansson on, what appeared to be, a romantic date with attorney Kevin Yorn. Since then, the Internet has been buzzing about the possible new couple, while wondering what happened to Colin Jost.

Kevin Yorn has been a major player behind the scenes in Hollywood for years. While the attention may be sudden, Yorn's connections are solidly A-list.

Kevin Yorn is a high-powered attorney

After graduating from Tulane University Law School in Louisiana, Yorn moved west to California. He spent five years as a deputy district attorney in L.A.

County. Yorn left the county office to partner with Kevin Morris at a new entertainment law firm. Since then, Morris Yorn Barnes Levine has grown into one of Hollywood's biggest law firms.

Consistently featured on various Power 100 lists, Yorn represents many Hollywood heavy hitters, including Ellen DeGeneres, Zach Galifianakis, and Zoe Saldana, as well as his recent dinner companion, Scarlett Johansson.

Both of his brothers are in the entertainment industry

Yorn's two brothers have carved out successful careers for themselves in their respective entertainment fields.

Older brother Rick Yorn began his career as a talent manager. After producing the Edward Burn's flick, "Sidewalks of New York," Rick began collaborating with Hollywood legend Martin Scorsese on films, such as "Gangs of New York" and "The Wolf of Wall Street." Rick snagged two Emmy Award nominations for his producing work on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

The youngest Yorn brother is acclaimed musician Pete Yorn.

Like his older brothers, Pete moved to Los Angeles after graduating college. While Pete had built a major following on the L.A.-area music scene, his big break came when he was asked to contribute music for a Farrelly Brothers' film. After being featured on several soundtracks, Pete was named a rising artist in the music field.

The talented singer-songwriter went on the release seven studio albums, including 2016's "Arranging Time."

Coincidentally, Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson recorded an album together in 2009. While not a critical success, "Break Up" became certified platinum in France.

Kevin Yorn's ex-wife is an Oscar-nominated producer

From 1996 to 2015, Kevin was married to Julie Silverman Yorn. Yorn, who is also a graduate of Tulane University, is the co-president of Sidney Kimmel Entertainment. She has been a producer on offerings such as "Unstoppable" and "Bride Wars," as well as "We Bought a Zoo," which co-starred Scarlett Johansson. Earlier this year, Yorn, along with producing partner Carla Hacken, received an Academy Award nomination for the Chris Pine-Ben Foster film, "Hell or High Water."

What happened to Colin Jost?

While Scarlett Johansson hasn't confirmed that she is dating Kevin Yorn, some fans are wondering if the Yorn dinner date means that she and "SNL" star Colin Jost have cooled off.

After the actress filed for divorce from Romain Dauriac earlier this year, fans were happy to see Scarlett strike up a relationship with the comic.

First spotted together after Scarlett hosted the May 20th episode of the long-running comedy show, it was only last week that a Jost source spilled the tea to Hollywood Life about the couple. The source said that the timing of Colin and Scarlett's budding relationship was perfect. With "SNL" on summer break, the "Weekend Update" anchor would be able to devote the time needed to build the relationship.

While Jost is no slouch, it's hard to deny that Kevin Yorn is pretty A-list. Considering that Scarlett Johansson and Kevin Yorn have a long-term business relationship, it's not impossible to believe that the duo could be dating.
