Ever since the news of Josh Duggar's sex scandal came out, he has been off of reality television. They have even done several things to hide his head and make sure that Josh wasn't seen. Now a new report from Starcasm makes it sound like Josh Duggar is going to be appearing on season three of "Counting On."
Details of Josh's television return revealed
It has been about two years since Josh Duggar was seen on television. His family's show "19 Kids and Counting" was canceled, but they brought back "Counting On," which is about the older children in the Duggar family.
Josh hasn't been on this show at all, but his wife Anna and his children have been featured from time to time. Now it sounds like Josh is going to be returning and this is going to cause a lot of mixed feelings for fans of the show.
Anna Duggar is pregnant with their fifth child now. The idea of seeing her go through this pregnancy is something fans love, but it would be hard to show all of this without Josh around for it. So far, TLC hasn't shared a word about Josh Duggar returning and they may not do it at all. They may just sneak him back on the show without telling anyone and then deal with the backlash.
It turns out that the ratings for "Counting On" haven't been as great as planned and a source says that Jim Bob Duggar is doing what he can to fix that for the family.
The source shared saying, "He spent a month trying to convince TLC that Josh should be back on the show. They finally caved and agreed to let him film an upcoming Counting On webisode where he’ll talk about his joy at learning he’s going to be a father again. He’ll appear on the next season of Counting On." This is going to be pretty shocking to everyone when they see it happen.
Only time will tell if these rumors about Josh Duggar coming back are true. He isn't saying a word and has been staying out of the press. The Duggars are giving out a few spoilers here and there about the show, but none of them have to do with Josh at all. The advertisers were pulling out when Josh was on the show, so this is something they may need to think about on the series.
You never know if this could cause them problems if they bring him back once again. The Duggars might be taking a really big chance.
