"Hawaii Five-0"'s Chess-Piece Killer has Steve McGarrett and Alicia in his sights.Five-0’s McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) was always a player in the serial killer’s twisted little game, but, as of episode 3, Claire Forlani’s criminal profiler is on the board as well. When Alicia sets out to prove Phillip Lau’s psychologist is suspect No. 1, the pair will find them selves in over their heads…quite literally.

“Five-0 must find McGarrett and Alicia when they are kidnapped by the serial killer they’ve been hunting,” CBS said of “a'e ke ahi lanakila a Kamaile (The Fire of Kamile Rises in Triumph).” From knives to dark coves, the Chess-Piece Killer will be determined to make sure McGarrett goes down and stays down.

Will The Five-0 Team prevail?

Chin (Daniel Dae Kim), Kono (Grace Park), Jerry (Jorge Garcia), and Grover (Chi McBride) will be locked in a race against time, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s not a particularly bright light, but a light nonetheless. After episode 4, the Five-0 crew will be able to take a break from the chase.

“That’s an arc that’s over four episodes, but the person behind it is not going to be caught,” showrunner Peter Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly in reference to Oahu’s new scourge. “That’s somebody who’s still going to be in the wind, so I’m hoping that someone can come back closer to the second half, or closer to the end of the season, in order to wrap that storyline up.”

Hmmm…cryptic.

Do you think McGarrett’s squad will find them in time, or will Steve and Alicia have to save themselves? Is the psychiatrist behind the killings, or is she merely a pawn in a larger battle? Sadly, we don't have the answers. Instead, fans will have to tune in to find out when "Hawaii Five-0" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
