Nicole Kidman confirms through Daily News that at least four projects will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. “The Killing of a Sacred Deer,” “The Beguiled,” “How to Talk to Girls at Parties,” and “Top of the Lake” will make the actress a regular face at the event. Fans will be happy to know that she will be on the main jury at the fest. Kidman previously starred in the notorious opener “Grace of Monaco,” which was screened at the 69th Cannes Film Festival.

'The Killing of a Sacred Deer' - “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” is an upcoming film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.

Lanthimos and Efthymis Filippou has penned the script. The cast includes Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman. Luckily, this project has been selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. The film is about a teenage boy who wants to become a surgeon. Nicole says that Raffey Cassidy, Bill Camp, Alicia Silverstone, Barry Keoghan, and Sunny Suljic are also in the cast. Film4 Productions and Element Pictures acquire the movie rights.

'The Beguiled' - The film will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next month. “The Beguiled” is one of the most anticipated Hollywood films. It is directed, written, and produced by Sofia Coppola.

The story is inspired by a novel of the same name by Thomas P. Cullinan. It features Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, and Elle Fanning. The movie is scheduled to be released on June 23, 2017. Focus Features acquires the US distribution rights. There are rumors that Selena Gomez has replaced Nicole in this film, but Sofia claims that Kidman is playing the main role.

'How to Talk to Girls at Parties' - The post-production of “How to Talk to Girls at Parties” has been finished. This movie will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this May. It is a British-American science fiction film by John Cameron Mitchell. Philippa Goslett and Cameron Mitchell have penned the script. The story is inspired by a novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman.

Elle Fanning, Alex Sharp, Nicole Kidman, Ruth Wilson, and Matt Lucas play the lead roles. While speaking to Vanity Fair, Kidman said that it’s a complete family movie.

The series follows a pregnant detective (Nicole Kidman) who faces various problems in her life. Elisabeth Moss plays Kidman’s sister who tries to help the pregnant lady.
