Trainers from all over the world are excited once again as "Pokémon GO" will reveal extremely rare and very powerful Legendary Pokémon characters this weekend. This offering is still part of the online game’s first-year anniversary celebration.

The starting point of the event is centered on Grant Park, Chicago. Once the game objective is completed, it will have a domino effect on millions of trainers from all around the world.

Legendary Pokémon characters

According to the latest information from the game developer, thousands of trainers will gather in Grant Park, Chicago to join Pokémon GO Fest this coming Saturday, July 22.

In the said event, trainers must catch enough Pokémon during the Pokémon GO Fest Challenge Windows to reveal the first Legendary Pokémon character.

Trainers who will participate in the Grant Park festival must defeat whichever Legendary Pokémon shows up. Once defeated, the said character will start appearing in Raid Battles across the globe right after Pokémon GO Fest. This is really a special treat since it is hard to catch Legendary Pokémon.

Watch the live action in Grant Park on Twitch or YouTube. Videos about the Pokémon GO Fest including updates and exclusive interviews will be available. Plus, for those who cannot attend the festivities in Grant Park, here's the chance to get to know the identity of the first Legendary Pokémon!

You can also join the conversation on social media platform by using #PokemonGOFest.
