Kelsea Ballerini is officially off the market. Last week, she married fellow country musician Morgan Evans and PEOPLE is getting a first look at their wonderful wedding. There was definitely an element of luxury to the event, but it wasn't over the top. Instead, it was an intimate affair meant to symbolize a love expected to last a lifetime.

In fact, Ballerini herself claimed that she was less excited about the wedding than the being married part, a feeling all wedded people should probably share.

Ballerini's beautiful wedding

The nuptials went down on December 2 at a beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

There were approximately 100 guests in attendance. Ballerini wore a Berta gown with a high slit and a lack of footwear, though shoes weren't much of a requirement for a beach wedding. Bridesmaids wore dresses from the "Vow To Be Chic" collection and jewelry from David Yurman. Meanwhile, Joseph Abboud supplied the tan suits worn by the men in the wedding party, including the groom himself.

The wedding was planned by Jayne Bubis Events; the organization already had prominent experience in the country music wedding planning business, courtesy of Carrie Underwood. Ballerini and Evans toasted their vows with a shot of tequila due to a connection with how they started dating in the first place.

The newlyweds also wrote their own vows. Ballerini's vows were quite poetic, according to the groom himself.

Then, the real party began.

With country music stars in attendance, Ballerini and Evans shared a first dance to Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years." All of the food was inspired by the local cuisine: Mexican food! When the reception settled down, the happy could and guests took a dip in the pool together, ending another celebrity fairytale wedding before the country stars likely jetted off to some exotic honeymoon.

Ballerini's big year

For many people, getting married would be the hallmark highlight of the year, especially when considering they got engaged less than a calendar year ago (Christmas 2016). But that's just another notch in Ballerini's belt. She was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards (where she lost to Chance the Rapper), was named to the Forbes "30 Under 30" list in the music category, and released a new album that went No. 7 in the United States last month.

For all intents and purposes, 2017 has been the year of Kelsea Ballerini. She's going to struggle to top this in 2018.
