Rape and murder of a Chinese student in Germany was alleged to have taken place merely to satisfy the sick Sexual Fantasy of a couple in May last year. The horrific mutilations and multiple efforts to kill 25-year-old Yangjie meant that experts were unable to pinpoint the exact cause of her death, the International Business Times reported.
Sexual fantasy rapist and murder was son of cops
The couple who carried out this horrendous rape and murder crime were Sebastian Flech and his girlfriend Xenia Lang. The police and the courts learned that Flech is actually the son of police officers, which somehow makes it even worse.
IBT reported that Initially, there was some suspicion that the parental cops may have had " some role or influence in the case," but that was later disproven.
The sexual fantasy murderers were sentenced on Friday 4 August in a German court, with Sebastian Flech landing a life sentence. His girlfriend Xenia Lang seems to have gotten off quite lightly with a five year and six-month sentence.
According to The Local De, the couple were also ordered to pay "damages for pain and suffering amounting to €60,000" (US$70 644).
Mutilations so severe actual cause of death not pinpointed
The sexual fantasy rape and murder was reportedly such a dreadful crime that as details emerged, the country of German was shocked by the brutality of the assault.
In summing up the case, Judge Uda Schmidt echoed the sentiments of the country when she described the murder as an "incomprehensible crime" and that,"The student had to die so that the defendants could live out their sexual fantasies."
The facts of the case came to light during the trial and revealed that their victim was an architecture student who was lured into an empty apartment under the pretext of an emergency while she was out on a jog.
Court documents showed that she was tortured and raped repeatedly before being left to die.
The will to survive was very strong, and their first attempts to kill the Chinese student failed. Returning some hours later, the couple found her still alive. Their murder attempts following the rape included smashing her head on a wooden floor, attempts to drown her in a bucket and strangulation.
They finally dumped her in some underbrush. Her mutilated body was so extensively damaged that prosecutors told the court it was impossible to say which injury had caused her death.
IBT reported that the rape and murder pair who had taken the Chinese student's life to enact a sexual fantasy, "remained silent and showed no emotion when the court pronounced its verdict."
