On Tuesday, Apple. Inc presented its new iPhone whose name is already disclosed as an iPhone X at 10 am Pacific Time, the Verge reported. It will become the most expensive smartphone in the company's history. The presentation of iPhone X, iPhone 8 models, and the Apple watch 3 will take place for the first time at Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
What are the changes in the new iPhone?
According to Quartz, the new model will be equipped with a wireless charging function, an OLED (organic light emitting diode) screen instead of a liquid crystal display from its predecessors. It will come without Home button and the company has replaced the previously used Touch ID that read fingerprints of the owner with face recognition function.
The device will have a dual camera on the front for perfect selfies. The back and front panel of the new smartphone will be of glass instead of aluminum. iOS 11 requires the passcode before it will connect to the desktop or laptop.
The iPhone users will no longer be able to backup the iPhone data using Touch ID.
It is expected that the cost of new items for the first time can exceed $1,000. According to Inquirer, the starting price of the iPhone X will be $ 999 for a memory capacity of 64 GB, $1099 for a 256 GB model and $1119 for 512 GB. The starting price of the predecessor, iPhone 7 Plus was $769 as compared to the new model.
According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone 8 will be equipped with a new feature called "Animoji", which uses the 3D-facial recognition sensors to revive emoji by giving them facial expressions by looking into a camera. Users will be able to create Animoji of robots, pigs, unicorns and much more.
New Apple Watch and Apple TV
It is assumed that the Apple Watch Series 3 will come in two versions - with the function of self-connection to the wireless network due to the built-in chip of the standard 4G LTE or without it. The presence of the possibility of an independent connection to the Internet in a clock will be indicated by a red dot on a circular wheel (digital crown).
Among other expectations from the conference: the Apple TV device, presented two years ago, will get a better picture. The previous Leaks of HomePod firmware indicated that it will gain 4K resolution and will support the highly dynamic ranges of Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Hybrid Log-Gamma, Techcrunch reported.
On Monday, Steve Troughton-Smith tweeted that "AppleTV6,2, or 'Apple TV 4K' as it's officially called, has a three-core A10 Fusion CPU and 3GB RAM."
