ASUS in August introduced its selfie-centric smartphone with dual cameras on the front called ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. The obvious selling point is the device’s cameras. The company is well-aware of that and is thus, has begun rolling out updates for it. According to a report by Android Soul, the software update – version 11.40.208.63 – was made available to users on Thursday, September 7. It is an overall general update, but specific improvements to the camera have been made. ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro will be able to install it via the over-the-air (OTA) method.

All the smartphones worldwide may not receive it at the same time. The company assures that they will introduce it to everyone soon.

Update will be available soon

The first addition made through the update is a new notifications tab. This is designed in a particular manner, so it informs users in case the handset experiences overheating issues. ASUS along with this has also brought about several changes to the smartphone’s system apps. Their performance appears to have received a minor bump. Apart from this, there isn’t anything revolutionary as such. The company has informed its users that they will take roughly a week to initiate automatic roll out to all its users worldwide completely. For those who don’t receive the update even after a week gets over, are advised to manually check their smartphone’s Settings if the update is available.
