Apple is just hours away from unveiling its next-generation iPhone device. The device is one of the highly anticipated smartphones of 2017. Just ahead of its launch, the company launched a Program that will make it easier for iPhone users to switch devices. The program is called, “iPhone Upgrade Program,” which will make switching devices easy without losing any data. This feature was first spotted by John Angarano of MacRumors in IOS 11’s new mail-in kit option, a report by Engadget reads.

The new “iPhone Upgrade Program” is only an upgrade to what existed before.

Apple first launched this feature back in 2015 with the introduction of its Iphone 6 series. The company’s main objective was to provide users with a seamless upgrading experience. Under this – regardless of which carrier one uses – individuals can switch devices in minutes, without compromising on their data. Things were a little different back then. Users would be required to book an appointment with Apple Store if they were planning on switching to a newer model. But with the new mail-in kit, one can do with simply by sitting in the comfort of their homes.

What should customers know?

According to a report by The Verge, the company is going to provide a prepaid shipping label along with the kit.

This will allow users the freedom to ship off their old smartphones when the newly-ordered ones come in. Apple is the kind to feel proud over the distinctive customer care experience that it delivers. At the same time, they understand the plight that the users have to go through every time they decide to settle for a greater variant of iPhone.

They want to eliminate that hassle through the launch of the mail-in kit option.

Apple's upcoming launches including iPhone 8

According to Tech Radar, Apple is expected to introduce its 10th-anniversary iPhone device along with iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. This will be accompanied by the introduction of Watch 3 and a 4K TV. There are a lot of changes scheduled to arrive in the latest products.

For example, the firm is settling for a bezel-less design this time. Apple has even apparently decided to integrate a dual rear camera setup in its smartphones. Fans are especially excited to try out the newly-added facial recognition setup. The performance of the devices will improve exponentially as it is going to be powered by IOS 11 and the latest A11 Fusion chipset. The starting price of iPhone Edition is expected to be around $1,000.
