We are just four days away from the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 8 debut. Recently, Evan Blass leaked the possible pre-order and release dates of the upcoming smartphone.

Early bird pre-order bundle

Earlier today, Blass tweeted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would be made available for pre-order on August 24, just a day after its debut on Samsung’s Unpacked event. Samsung would also bundle the phablet with a 256GB micro SD card and a convertible wireless charger or a 360 cam.

Official release date?

Just a few minutes after announcing the pre-order date for the smartphone, a Twitter user asked Blass if he knew any details in regards to the smartphone's release date, and he quickly responded with “9/15.” This most likely means that Samsung is looking towards a September 15 release for the phablet.

This also confirms a recent leak from an anonymous mobile network provider representative in South Korea two weeks ago. Stating that “We are going to sell Galaxy Note 8 starting from the 15th of September.”

Two-week window for pre-orders

Another important detail provided by the anonymous carrier representative is that in South Korea, pre-order dates are only limited from up to 10 to 14 days. Samsung might also take the same cautionary action with its North American market, to ensure avoiding any circumstances of a bottleneck in the production of the device, due to high demand.

Pricing leaked in China

Yesterday, Chinese website ITHome posted the predicted pricing of Note 8, stating that “the Taiwan media has exposed the price of the tripod version of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.” The phablet is expected to come with three different storage options, 64GB variant is priced at 6,288 Yuan, 7.088 Yuan for 128GB, and 7,988 Yuan for the maximum memory capacity of 256GB.

Once converted to US currency, the 64GB variant would cost $941, the 128GB for $1,061, and $1,196 for the 256GB model. Once converted to US currency, the 64GB variant would cost $941, the 128GB for $1,061, and $1,196 for the 256GB model.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8's main selling points are its rumored dual 12 MP rear camera setup, Snapdragon 835 processor, and its 6.3 inch, Super AMOLED Infinity display.

Lastly, the phablet is expected to have an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance just like its predecessor. USB Type-C, expandable memory, and a 3300 mAH battery equipped with fast charging and wireless charging. The phablet is scheduled to launch on August 23 at Samsung's Unpacked event in New York.
